Soooo cute! I was inspired by the florentine deer pillar candles on Pottery Barn. I knew I could make something similar with my Silhouette.
The Silhouette can trace any image you find online. So I did some google image searches, found something I thought would work. I dropped it into the Silhouette software, repeated it a few times, then traced, and cut. The entire process probably took me 10 minutes.
I guess I was so excited to find the image and cut it out that I forgot to cut around the perimeter. I used my paper cutter to trim the candle wrap to size. I then wrapped it around a flameless candle and secured with double sided tape.
I chose white on white because that is similar to the Pottery Barn original. Of course, if you cut this with your Silhouette, you can choose any color paper you would like.
I love when the flameless candle is on and the light comes through the holes in the paper. It is just gorgeous.
So this one is not a direct imitation of the Pottery Barn candles but rather something that was inspired by them. However, for just the cost of a sheet of paper, I am over the moon in love with it!
