Today we are going bold with fall tablescape ideas that you will love. I am actually participating in a tablescape showdown with two other bloggers. So at the end of this post I will be begging for your vote. Get your clicking fingers ready y’all! You can win a prize when voting as well so there is definitely an incentive! First lets explore my fall tablescape ideas with tons of pictures!
As a part of the tablescape showdown, all three bloggers are using the awning stripe line of table linens from Bright Settings. I chose the awning stripe tablecloth in black. You can also get napkins, table runners, place mats and more all from Bright Settings. I love that you can order any of their stock sizes or a custom size for your table. This allowed me to get the perfect tablecloth with the perfect overhang on all sides.
I decided on a black and gold theme for my table early on. How could I make black and gold fall themed? Trust me it is possible! The addition of some gold wheat in mason jars really pulled the entire look into a “fall” theme I think.
You can read more about my gold bottle centerpiece and how I made it here. They are painted bottles with a candle in each one. I love the slightly rustic appearance of this centerpiece. Yes that is barn wood rubbed with gold paint!
I placed the wheat in chalkboard label jars that I purchased at Dollar General. The gold leaves that are scattered around the table also came from Dollar General on a garland. I just clipped them off with scissors and scattered around.
The place cards are glittered gold card stock cut to size and folded in half with a chalkboard label on the top. The place mats. Well those I am super proud of! I ended up using vintage black and white maps under my place settings. It is the perfect vintage touch to my table.
Each place received a dinner plate, folded white napkin, saucer, and coffee cup stacked in that order. A wine glass is also at each place setting.
Who says fall dinner parties have to be all pumpkins and orange? Go bold with black and gold this fall!
I could see using these fall tablescape ideas for a dinner party or even an elegant Thanksgiving dinner. The concept of layering gold over an awning stripe tablecloth is simple yet has such elegant results.
Now is the time when I ask you to go vote! You can win a fabulous prize as well so there is definitely something in it for you. You could even buy your own awning stripe linens with your winnings. Just click here to vote for one of the below tablescapes and enter to win the credit to Bright Settings. It is that simple! You can vote for me or vote for one of the other fabulous ladies.
