Halloween Party Bag Ideas
Add cute spiders to the front of gift bags for a fun idea that will really make your party something special. The addition of glitter paint to these spiders really make this project stand out. Read on to see just how to make these DIY party bags for Halloween.
Supplies to make your own Halloween gift bags:
- Various colored gift bags from the dollar store
- Set of plastic spiders from the dollar store
- DecoArt Craft Twinkle Paint
in Fuchsia, Black, and Gold
- Spider webs (either purchase similar, draw on bags, or cut with a machine like your Cricut Explore)
- Hot glue and a glue gun
- Paintbrushes
Instructions:
Start by painting your spiders with two fairly thick coats of the Craft Twinkles paint. Be sure to allow to dry before adding a second coat. Allow spiders to dry overnight before touching. I only painted the top and sides of my spiders. The bottom is against the bag and will not be seen anyway. Be sure to protect your work surface as you can see below.
Stick the spider web to the front of the bag and glue on the painted spider with hot glue. I cut my spider webs from vinyl on my Cricut Explore. Give this spiderweb SVG a try if you decide to use your machine. You could paint or draw on a similar design. If you are lucky enough, a similar spider web might be at your dollar store.
I attempted to match my colors for a fun take on Halloween gift bags. These are perfect for small or medium size gifts. You can pick and choose and colors you love as well.
You can actually give a gift to adults or kids in these Halloween gift bags. Either one will enjoy these colorful spiders and webs. These are an affordable option that will make your gift seem extra amazing!
You can also use these as Halloween party bag ideas. Fill them with party favors for your guests and don’t let anyone leave empty handed. They will love that the gift bag is almost part of the gift.
