We decided to “mix up a moment” with Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Cake Mix and Frosting and this super easy recipe. Seriously the kids will love this easy to follow cake mix cookie recipe. Just dump a pouch of the Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Cake Mix into the bowl.
Add one egg and four tablespoons of vegetable oil. Mix well. We really got into the mixing and baking! We whipped up three different colors of cookies in no time.
Take one teaspoon of dough and roll into a ball. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake in a 375 degree preheated oven for 7 – 9 minutes. Remove and allow to cool completely.
Then start icing your cookies with the Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Frosting. We used a different colored icing on each color cookie. Let your kids pick the colors! I recommend adding the icing to a zip topped plastic bag. Cut the corner off of the bag with scissors. This makes icing these cookies a simple process that even older kids can tackle.
Once your cookies are iced, they are ready for decorations!
Use the decorations from the tops of the Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Frosting or any other decorations.
Kids will really love adding these special touches onto the cookies that they have made. Use our simple spring cake mix cookies to #MixUpAMoment with your family! These simple cookies will allow you to bake with your kids any night of the week!
