Showing Off Magnets -- 15 minute craft

It is Crafty Quickies week here at The Country Chic Cottage.  A week of crafts that take 15 minutes or less (excluding dry time).  If you haven't already, you can link up any crafts you have that take 15 minutes or less by heading over to the linky party.  My first Crafty Quickie is my Showing Off Magnets....

All kids love to show off their school work and art.  These magnets are the perfect way to clip up those papers.  These were first shown over at PSA Stamp Camp (if you love stamp crafts be sure to follow along there).  First you will need some clothespins.  Just cut a piece of scrapbook paper the size of the clothespin and Mod Podge it onto the front...

I then used a magnet I already had on the fridge.  Y'all have these freebies too don't you?  This one turned out to not be very strong and I had to replace it a few weeks later.  I would go with some fairly strong magnets since these will be holding up paper.  Glue your magnet on the back of your clothes pin.  I would use a glue like E6000 or Gorilla Glue.

Next you will need some stamps.  I used the super star set of stamps from PSA Essentials.  Plus the dual color ink that I love!  {Two colors in one stamp pad.}

I used the blue foam sheets.  But this was the pack that I found at the Dollar Tree.  So you can go wild with the colors on this one.

Just stamp onto the foam sheet.  I would let it dry a few minutes then cut it out.  Depending on the type of ink you are using, the stamp could remain wet for a while.  Then glue it to the front of the clothes pin.  Drying time is really the longest part of this project.

After they are dry, use them to display all the great school work your little ones bring home.

Some of that great artwork will work too!  I hope you enjoyed this one!

Stay tuned for an entire week of Crafty Quickies.  There will be projects from me, Carolina from Moore Craft Time, and a ton of guests.  You don't want to miss any of them!
