Tips and Tricks for Cornstarch Playdough
Now that you’ve seen this fun cornstarch playdough, are you ready to make your own? Here are a few tips and tricks!
- Mix In Your Ingredients Slowly – Don't rush when making your cornstarch playdough! Instead, mix in your ingredients slowly so everything is evenly incorporated, resulting in a better batch of dough.
- Adjust The Recipe If Needed – If your dough is too sticky, add more cornstarch; if your dough is too dry, add more glue. When doing this, start with 1 teaspoon and add more if needed.
- Store Your Cornstarch Playdough – If you have any leftover cornstarch playdough, store it in an airtight container or a ziplock bag. Doing this will make the cornstarch playdough last longer and prevent it from drying out.
- Skip The Hardware – If you don't like the look of the hardware on the snowman, or don't have any on hand, you can use something else instead. For example, you can decorate your snowman with buttons, minatures, sticks, pipecleaners, and more!
