The initial version was painted with a silver metallic from Decoart on both sides. Allow to dry then hot glue on buttons in a letter shape. Punch hole and add ribbon.
The wreath ornament was given a coat of green paint then a coat of green glitter paint (both from Decoart). Then the “wreath” and “berry” buttons were glued on with hot glue. Punch a hole and add ribbon.
These are both quick and simple. A fun project with kids of all ages. Maybe your kids with come up with a different button layout? Stripes? Dots? A tree? Let their imaginations run wild this holiday season.
