Step 1: Print Free Whole Class Teacher Gift Bee Printable
Print the page that you accessed using the link from the email. It will say “thank you for bee-ing a great teacher” and have some lines already on it. You can add more lines in the steps below as well!

Step 2: Create The Bodies Of The Bees
I used stamp pads to make the entire process a bit smoother. You can use paints instead, but those will need to dry longer. Choose colors that will look like bees once they dry.
Have each child add their fingerprint to the page using the stamp pads. Just put their fingertip on the stamp pad and apply it to the paper. Then you can use a wipe to remove excess ink from their fingers. They can add their fingerprints to the ends of the lines provided or at random locations on the page.

Step 3: Add Details To Bees
Allow the fingerprints to dry completely. Then use a Sharpie or any other black marker to turn the fingerprints into bees. Add stripes, antennae, and wings. Depending on the age of the children, you can allow them to do this part themselves as well.

Then add your completed art print to a frame to gift it. Here, I used a frame that I painted yellow, but any frame that you like would work!

Adding To The Art For A Complete Gift
Don’t stop with just the art print! Make this an extra special gift idea with the ideas below! Here are some tips to help you choose a gift that your teacher will truly appreciate:
- Consider your teacher’s personality and interests: Think about what your teacher enjoys outside of the classroom, and try to incorporate those interests into your gift. For example, if your teacher is an avid reader, consider giving them a gift card to a bookstore and pairing it with the gift idea above.
- Keep it practical: While it’s nice to give sentimental gifts, practical gifts (like this school supply tower) are often more appreciated. Think about what your teacher needs in the classroom and try to provide them with something that will be useful. You can wrap up this inexpensive artwork with a more practical gift for the best of both worlds!
- Don’t overspend: While it’s important to show your appreciation, you don’t need to break the bank to do so. Remember that it’s the thought that counts, and a heartfelt gift is often more meaningful than an expensive one. The bee art above is a great example of something you can make on a budget and then ask for donations to add a gift card from the class.
- Involve the whole class: Giving a teacher a gift from the whole class is a great way to show your teacher that they are valued by everyone. Make sure that every student in the class has a chance to contribute to the gift, and consider having a class discussion to decide on the best gift idea.
Use this to think of ideas and wrap up the entire gift together to show the teacher that you care! I know they will love the sentimental art as well as a fun gift card that they can use for classroom supplies or something fun for themselves!

By keeping your teacher’s interests and personality in mind, and involving the whole class in the gift-giving process, you can ensure that your teacher feels valued and appreciated for all of their hard work. After all, this is what Teacher Appreciation gifts are all about! So, give this teacher gift from the whole class a try this year!
FAQs About Whole Class Teacher Gift
Here are a few common questions that I often see readers asking about making this whole class teacher gift. If you have a question, please check if I’ve already addressed it below. If you don’t see your question listed, please leave it in the comments
What Printer Would You Recommend For Printables In General?
I love using this printer!
Can I Adjust The Size Of This Whole Class Teacher Gift Printable?
You can, but I wouldn’t recommend it. This is because, since you will be using little thumbs for the bees’ bodies, you want everything to be in proportion.
Do I Need To Use A Special Paper For This Project?
I like using white cardstock because it’s thicker paper, but you could use plain copy paper instead.
Can I Change The Color Of The Bees?
Yes! This is your teacher’s gift, so you can make the bees in any color that you like!
