I hope y’all are having fun for our Teacher Appreciation Week. Next up for me is my fingerprint tree teacher gift. This one is so simple yet such a great and memorable gift for any teacher. First if you have missed any of the fun this week be sure to check out the round ups from day 1, day 2, day 3, and day 4. Also if you want a chance to be featured in our round ups, be sure to link up to our Craft Lightning link party. Now lets get to that fingerprint tree teacher gift.
Start by clicking here to access the free printable tree. NOTE: I think some are having trouble loading the tree due to a large number of people accessing at the same time. If you have issues, click here to access the free printable tree from another site. Print in color and you will have something that looks like the image below. I printed mine on white card stock to make sure it was rugged enough for all of those fingerprints.
Next grab different color inks and have the class each press their fingerprint onto the tree. Just use a finger, press to the ink pad, and let them decide where on the tree to place their “leaf”. Your tree will fill up with little leaves that are oh so meaningful to the teacher.
You can give this gift as is or frame it up for Teacher Appreciation Week. My fingerprint tree teacher gift might even bring a few tears. Those are the best gifts of all huh?
