I love the art work you can find in vintage cook books. I have wanted for some time to frame some. I was lucky enough that Nikki Sivils sent me a pack of their scrapbook paper. As I was flipped through the pages, I realized that it was the perfect color scheme for my kitchen. It was time to frame some vintage cook book pages...

As I was flipped through the pages, I realized that it was the perfect color scheme for my kitchen. It was time to frame some vintage cook book pages...
I was sent the Messages kit. It contained this awesome paper in red and a creamy white. My kitchen has touches of red so this is what set my wheels to turning.
The shabby white frame was from a thrift store and I painted it some time ago. I added a kitchen themed PSA Essentials stamp around the outside of the frame using a pale grey ink.
I found this page in one of my vintage cook books. The color was perfect...
The artwork is perfect too! Vintage and whimsical!
I just taped the page to the Nikki Sivils paper, cut it to size, and inserted it into my frame.
This is a super simple project but it will make a great impact in my kitchen!
Today I am participating in the blog hop for Nikki Sivils and PSA Essentials. Don't know where to start? Head on over the the PSA Stamp Camp blog for all of the info. Want to continue on the hop? Head on over to Paperie Petals.

So cute! Love it!
How adorable! I'm going to look through my old ones, or maybe find one at a garage sale...
