I started with a photo album, my decals, plus some ribbons and buttons. The decals, ribbons, and buttons are all designed by Laura Kelly. All of the items were provided to me as part of being a design team member over at Buttons Galore and More.
I used some glossy scrapbook paper that I had on hand. It is actually chalkboard paper and is super slick. I added my decals according to the package directions. So what if your decals won’t stick to the surface that you picked? Grab some decoupage medium and just go right over the top of them to make them nice and secure.
I then added the Laura Kelly ribbon around the outside of the photo album opening with hot glue. I creased each corner.
The very last corner had the ribbon ends.
I then played around with some coordinating buttons in each corner. Again adding with hot glue.
My embellished photo album is ready for some family pictures. Oh wait. That is already us on the front….in cartoon form at least!
