The process is simple for making your own wreath. In fact, I made a quick video to show you just how to make your own. You can watch that below.

How to Make a DIY Fall Burlap Wreath
- Cut brown burlap into approximately 1 x 8 strips. You can do this with just regular scissors or use fabric scissors.
- Then tie those strips onto the wreath form all the way around. Be sure to make it nice and full.
- Cut white burlap into 2 x 3 triangles.
- Then use a sharpie to write FALL onto your triangles. You can use a stencil here if you need to or even cut HTV with your Cricut.
- Use hot glue to add the cut triangles to twine.
- Then tie the banner onto your wreath.
- Once complete, hang the wreath in your home for a touch of fall!
The most time-consuming part of this wreath is cutting all of those small strips. But it is so worth it, am I right??

Another winner Angie, loving this wreath. I have one of those wire wreath forms so guess had better get started cutting those strips huh? Will take a awhile I think. Have to admit haven’t made wreath due to needing all those strips but think seeing your wreath has convinced me it’s time to stop being lazy.
Wish I has little bit of some orange burlap for the banner. Love how full and fluffy your wreath is.
Noticed your finger protector, know I need one of those, always burning my fingers with hot glue.
Have great day and great weekend. Had better get busy myself.
The finger protector is a live saver! Thanks for the comment Jane!

I’m loving this. Think I’ll make one for a dear friend.
This wreath is adorable. Love it!
I love the simplicity of this wreath but it still makes a statement!
Angie, love your wreath. So fall, without being overly orange! Your video is great too.
Such a pretty and rustic wreath. It reminds me of home with all that pretty burlap!
