This can be assembled in just a few minutes and shipped to your student anywhere in the country. If you sent them a care package at the beginning of the semester, now is the time to ensure they finish strong and healthy!
How To Make A Finals Survival Kit
This finals survival kit is incredibly simple to make, and you can assemble everything in just 30 minutes! All you need are some treat bags, tags, and our free printable to create this fun kit. In this post, I’ve also included some ideas for filling your treat bags, but the possibilities are truly endless!
Supplies Needed For Finals Survival Kit
- Printable finals survival kit note (see how to print this below)
- Small bags for your gifts – I used white cloth bags like these.
- Tags – I used kraft paper tags similar to these.
- Pen, marker, stamp/ink (or any method for marking your tags)
- Small gifts for your college student (see list below for ideas)

Step 1: Download Finals Survival Note
Download our final survival note, print it out, and set it aside.
Step 2: Stamp Tags With Numbers
Mark your tags with numbers using stamps and ink or a marker. You will need as many tags as days you are sending in your care package. I chose to use seven.
Step 3: Fill Bags
Fill each bag with a treat for your college student. A few ideas to try:
- Starbucks gift card
- Stress ball (you can even make your own)
- Vitamin C
- Highlighters
- Pencils
- Tylenol
- EOS or other lip balm
- Chocolate
- Energy bars
- Homemade granola bars

Step 4: Tie Bags Close & Add Tags
Close the bags and attach a tag to each one.
Step 5: Add Bags & Finals Survival Note To Larger Box
Place the filled bags inside a box along with your printed finals survival kit note. Your college student will be excited to open each day’s bag and discover the surprise inside!
