These five Christmas placecard ideas can all be made in about 5 minutes or less. That is what I call a quick craft! These all match my Christmas napkin rings as well. Between the two, you should have a gorgeous holiday table in no time at all.
Christmas Placecard – Idea #1
The first idea is a placecard and a party favor all in one. Write the name of your guests on fun ornaments with a paint pen. I used an owl ornament but you can use any that you love and that match your holiday tablescape. Just look for ones with a plain surface that is flat for adding the names.
Christmas Placecard – Idea #2
Maybe you like a more rustic table with a touch of whimsy. Look no further! Add a small tape flag with a name to the handle of a miniature red wagon like these. Want even more of a festive touch? Add a mini tree to the wagon as well!
Christmas Placecard – Idea #3
Time for a little secret! A plain 4×6 index card folded in half makes a great placecard. You can embellish it however you like and it is super inexpensive. Here we added a string of miniature Christmas lights like these with a little glue. Then just add a name and this table is ready!
Christmas Placecard – Idea #4
Want something a little sparkly and a little different? Add a strip of glitter tape to some clothespins then glue on a small wood letter. Everyone will know where to sit and you have a gorgeous touch of sparkle on your holiday table.
Christmas Placecard – Idea #5
Try some baker’s twine in this case for a cute placecard idea. I used the same technique as I used to make these Christmas cards. Fun, quick, and oh so easy! That is my type of craft y’all.
So, tell us, which Christmas placecard will you be making this year? These simple ideas are perfect for any holiday table. Pair them up with the matching Christmas napkin rings that you can find here and you are on your way to a gorgeous holiday table.
