Let’s get started on crafting our place cards.
- White card stock trimmed to size
- Burlap trimmed to size
- Wood tags
- Chalkboard paint
- Felt leaves (my leaves came from Consumer Crafts)
- 3D adhesive mounts
Start with your white card stock and trim it to the size you want for a place card. I always used 4 inches by 6 inches. Fold that in half and trim your burlap to the size of the front of the card. I just used a dab of hot glue in the corners to adhere.
Paint your wooden tags with chalk board paint. I had these tags ready for another project. They are from Pick Your Plum which is a daily deal site. Once your tags are dry you can also put them on with a dab of hot glue.
I then just wrote on the name of my attendees and I was ready for Thanksgiving!
I love burlap on my Thanksgiving table. Something about it just says fall.
Here is our completed table. Ready for guests to start arriving! Okay we have over a month….but you better get started on these projects now!
