Yep those baskets under the antique sewing machine house toys. They are a great way to keep everything organized and out of sight. I pick them up at thrift stores whenever I see one.
Yep that skirted table has been turned into a “barn” to park a variety of vehicles. This is one of the best things I have ever done hands down. I just tell my son to park his trucks in the barn. We close the flaps and everything is cleaned up. Perfect!
If y’all noticed there is another change in that picture above. I got a new rug around Christmas time! Plush Rugs was kind enough to send me a gorgeous rug in exchange for this post. For anyone interested, the rug is this Kaleen Crowne Oberon. I was very impressed by the quality of the rug given the price was so reasonable. It is so thick and luxurious to step on! A huge upgrade for my foyer. Y’all a new rug can make you smile every time you look at it. It is a mood booster and a home improvement in my opinion. I am already stalking Plush Rugs for some more additions to my home. I just noticed they are having a winter sale….off to shop y’all!
Oh one more toy organization idea before I head out. I mentioned baskets above and wanted to show you that any lidded basket will work for your toy organization. Grab those vintage baskets and add a chalkboard tag. These look wonderful sitting out around your home and no one will ever know the mess you are hiding inside.
So grab some lidded vintage baskets and other items that will look great around your home. Then just add in the kids’ organized toy collection. You will be hiding the toys in plain sight before you know it. Here is to a wonderful (and clean) 2014 with these toy organization ideas.
I was given product in exchange for this post but all opinions are my own.
