It is that time of year when I start cleaning and organizing my home. I am starting with some bathroom cabinet and drawer organization ideas. I picked up some great items at Dollar General that were perfect for the job. Follow along below and use one or more of the ideas for your own home.
I started with a shopping trip to Dollar General for supplies. I picked up a variety of plastic containers and even those metal shelves that are intended for kitchen cabinets. Think a bit outside of the box when looking for containers. Any plastic container will work great in your cabinets and drawers no matter what the intended use may be.
We literally have ONE cabinet in our entire bathroom. So yes it needs to stay organized. I used some plastic containers and drawers to separate out some things. Those metal kitchen shelves are perfect in large cabinets like this. I use them for medicines, vitamins, and even small towels. Keep like items together by containing them in small plastic containers.
Those small containers are cheap and perfect for small items. They divide up any drawer in your bathroom to make organization easy. Grab tons of these at Dollar General because you will want them to organize every room in your home.
One of the drawers in our bathroom is really deep. I found that a combination of stacking some of those plastic containers plus tall kitchen containers worked well to organize our medication and first aid supplies.
Sometimes you may find you need a larger divider in a drawer. A free alternative is to use a spare cardboard box from around your home. Then add smaller containers to divide up your bathroom necessities.
I also have an inexpensive cube storage system next to my cabinet. You can pick up something similar to this at Dollar General. The combination of these two cabinets keeps our bathroom organized and looking neat. Do you have any secrets to organizing your bathroom? Do you use any similar bathroom cabinet and drawer organization ideas in your home?
