Can y’all stand any more party fun? These cupcake toppers with labels are so easy to make and they are just too cute. This is part of a series of party crafts that is sponsored by Online Labels as part of a craft video series on Crafty Hangouts. You can watch all of the party craft videos there if you would like. Also, earlier this week I posted a mason jar party centerpiece that would coordinate perfectly with these cupcake toppers. Right now lets make some super simple cupcake toppers with labels! (Psst….there is also a giveaway worth $300 at the bottom of this post — 3 winners will get a $100 Target gift card each — don’t miss it!)
Supplies needed to make these cupcake toppers with labels:
- Paper straws (I used these Orange Paper Straws and Pink Paper Straws)
- Scalloped Edge Labels (OL1027) (in fluorescent pink and orange for examples but a wide variety of colors are available)
- Triangle Labels (OL1058) (in fluorescent pink and orange for examples but a wide variety of colors are available)
- Printable “Happy Birthday” file
- Printer and ink
That is it! I told you these are super simple to make. You can watch the video below to see how to make these LIVE in just a few minutes. I make one of the scalloped versions as well as one of the triangle versions. My friend Carolina with 30 Minute Crafts also makes some fun toppers for mini donuts using a flag label.
Here are brief instructions just in case you miss any of the details:
- Cut paper straws in half.
- Flatten one end with your fingers.
- Apply printed label to one side. (You can find the file to print to your labels by clicking here.)
- Apply non-printed label to the other side being sure to line them up.
- Stick in a cupcake and enjoy your party!
These labels are also great for other party elements. I stuck them to the front of some buckets as well to make some great party favors. I will fill each bucket with treats and surprises for the party. Of course, you can also use the triangle labels to make this mason jar centerpiece and I will have a decorated cupcake stand here tomorrow using the same labels. Ordering a few sheets of labels that coordinate with your party theme is the best thing you can do to throw an amazing birthday bash. Make coordinating elements with your labels easily and your party will look like a custom party thrown by a professional. Using labels is one of my top tricks for all of my kids’ birthday parties.
I hope y’all enjoy these cupcake toppers with labels. I promised y’all a giveaway before I go didn’t I?? Enter using the rafflecopter form below to win one of THREE $100 Target gift cards! You must by 18 years or older to enter and the contest is void where prohibited. The prize is furnished and shipped by a third party and not The Country Chic Cottage. The winners will be displayed below once the contest ends. Good luck!
