Did you know that you can make pallet pumpkins with no tools required? Oh yes, you can! In just minutes, you can have these gorgeous rustic pumpkins on your mantel or even in a display outdoors for fall. I made just three but want to make so many more. How many pallet pumpkins are too many? I say the sky is the limit! This one was originally posted over at Darice where I am a paid contributor but I am posting it here in case you missed it.

Instructions:
The secret to this entire tutorial is the Pallet Wood Boxes that are already premade. You do not have to do any sawing or nailing! Just purchase the boxes and get started on your project. I wanted to make two different sizes of DIY pallet pumpkins so I started by using wood glue to secure two of the pallet boxes together. Allow that to dry completely, then you can continue with painting your pumpkins. I used three different shades of orange and very little paint for a rustic look. You can add more paint for a more finished look if desired.
Once dry, just use hot glue to add driftwood pieces for stems and a few fun leaves. Tie on a few strings of raffia to complete the look. Then your pallet pumpkins are complete!
You can add them to your mantel as I have done here. You could also use an outdoor paint and use these as decoration for your porch.
I could see using these all around my home in the fall. I am head over heels in love with the way they turned out.
So, will you be making some pallet pumpkins for your home decor this fall? Remember that it can be so super easy with no tools required once you pick up those little pallet boxes!
I think these are so so cute! I love how simple they are to make and how well they turned out! Thanks for sharing.
