So my mod podge bunnies from yesterday needed some help… I went to Gina’s blog The Shabby Chic Cottage….cause she has great ideas right?? She did a great ragamuffin garland a while back plus another lighted version. I have been dying to make my own…and the bunnies needed help…
Now don’t they look so much better?? Nestled in a bed of shabby raggy goodness!!
I literally made this from scraps. I took a long strip of muslin scrap and just started tying on strips of scrap fabric that were “spring” in color or interesting in texture.
So in mine you can find burlap, ribbon, canvas, pieces of old sheets, muslin, ticking, any scrap that was laying around was fair game!
I just filled up my little wagon with my garland and nestled in my bunnies!
A very shabby easter scene….that works with the rest of my home decor but still gives a touch of spring!
Break out your scrap pile and get to tying. It will only take you a little while…and it is free!! Put your garland in a wagon, on your mantle, hang it on your wall, just any way you want to display!
