I love adding scents to my home but I am not a huge fan of candles or bottled air fresheners. This all-natural way to add fragrance is perfect for me! Will you give these simmer pot recipes a try this fall? I know you will love the way they make your home smell!
I have to admit I’ve never tried this but I think your post will prompt me to do it! I love scented candles burning even in the summer (when the house is closed up with the AC running!) Thanks for sharing the recipes!
I’m sure these are all wonderful, but the fall spiced scent will be the one I try first! We so ready for fall fun at my house!
One of my memories growing up was when my mom would put something on the stove top to make the house smell awesome before guests arrived. Will have to try this for myself. Visiting from Whims Wednesday party.
Angie,
I’m visiting from Inspire Me Monday. I like making a simmering pot at Christmas with some of these same ingredients. I thank you for pulling together these different combinations. I certainly will try some of these aromatic delights this fall! Feel free to hit the dance floor with me & the Monday’s Music Moves Me gals!
I like these too, I have one of those little mug warmers and I take a large mug and put some yummy smelling things in it in the morning and set it on the counter. It’s small but works good for apartments and doesn’t take up stove space that way. 🙂
