How To Make Wedding Chair Reservation Signs
Step 1: Download And Print Reserved Signs
Download the printable reserved signs from your email, then print them onto cardstock.

Step 2: Cut Out Reserved Signs
Cut out each reserved sign using your preferred method. I used scissors, but you could also print then cut them with your Cricut.
If you are using your Cricut, you will want to get familiar with the print then cut feature of your machine. First, download the file above, then watch our video titled Print then Cut Feature in Cricut Design Space to get more information on how to use this feature.

Step 3: Add Reserved Signs To Chairs
Once your signs are cut, add them to your chairs with a piece of washi tape!

Reserve seats for the parents and grandparents of both the bride and the groom with these signs. I personally love the mason jar theme, and I'm sure you will as well if you are planning a rustic wedding.
You could also use these on the place settings to mark the seating. However, I like them on the chairs better.

So, get your free printable above and use it at your wedding! I hope you enjoy these wedding chair signs and that they help you plan the wedding of your dreams on a budget!

FAQs About Printable Reserved Signs
Here are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions I receive about creating these printable reserved signs. If your question isn’t listed, feel free to drop it in the comments and I’ll be happy to help!
What Cricut Machines Can I Use For This Project?
The Cricut machines that you can use for this project are the Cricut Maker and Explore series, as well as the Venture and Cricut Xtra. This is because these Cricut machines have the print then cut feature.
Do I Need A Special Printer For This Project?
No! Any printer that you have will work fine for this project.
Can I Print These Reserved Signs On Regular Computer Paper?
Yes, you can. I like to use heavyweight cardstock to make the signs more sturdy, but you could actually use regular copy paper if you wanted.
Can I Attach The Signs To The Chairs In Another Way?
Depending on the chairs you are using, you could attach the sign in a few different ways. Personally, I think washi tape is the best option because it's cheap and won't damage the chairs. However, if you are looking for more options for attaching the signs to the chairs, you could do the following:
- Punch two holes at the top, thread some twine through the holes, and drape it over the chair (like a traditional sign).
- Punch a hole at the top and bottom, then thread some twine through it and tie it to the chair.
