Faux Bois Pumpkin

I am back with ANOTHER pumpkin...surprise, surprise huh?  I have been in love with the faux bois effect on EVERYTHING.  Something about that wood grain appearance that makes my heart pitter patter.  So you know what happened next....I put it on a pumpkin...

I started with a paper mache pumpkin from Consumer Crafts (I get product from them for my participation in their design team but I highly recommend them for quality and price).

I painted mine gray.  I wanted a sophisticated look to this pumpkin.

I then took my Elmer's Painters Paint marker in white and drew the faux bois free hand all over the pumpkin.  Simple, quick, and CUTE!

You can find the tutorials for the other items pictured here:

I hope y'all enjoyed this one and you will add a touch of faux bois to your decor!
