It is time once again for more quick and easy camp crafts with day 2 of Craft Lightning. You can find more crafts that take 15 minutes or less to complete by checking out the round ups from day 1, day 3, day 4, and day 5. You can also get a chance to be featured here by linking up to our Craft Lightning linky party. Now lets see what our bloggers have in store for us today.
First up is some fun painted pencils from Made to be a Momma. This is such a great idea and the campers can go home with their own pencils for back to school. Get the super simple instructions for making your own by clicking here.
Next up is a fun vinyl necklace craft that uses a bottle cap. The campers will love wearing these during camp and after they go home. Click here to get the full instructions from Sowdering About.
The amazing Scrappy chick made a journal craft that any camper will die for! This one is great for little and big kids alike. Let them decorate their own journal like this one!
Add beads to a keyring to spell the names of family members with this idea from Happy Go Lucky. The campers can make a ton of these in one craft session and give away as gifts. I bet some of you even have some beads lying around the house just waiting to be used.
Next up is a fun way for the campers (or your kids) to send secret messages to one another. Get the full instructions for making watercolor secret messages from Mabey She Made It.
Our linky party feature for today is Sweet C’s Designs and these DIY binoculars. Do a little recycling and let the kids make a fun craft. Then they can use these in a nature hike!
My partner for this series, 30 Minute Crafts, is showing you how to make tie dye less messy for kids. Click here to get all of her tips and trick and start dying with your kids today.
In case you missed it, I shared a dye project as well today. My dip dyed burlap bag is sure to be a hit with the kids. Let them pick a color of dye and watch the magic happen!
Stay tuned as there is much more Craft Lightning fun to come this week! Y’all stay tuned!
